Course syllabi are available for review to explore Dr. Howard-Bostic's recommended best practices for syllabus construction. These assignments offer a creative way of imparting knowledge, validating intellectual thought, and applying theory to salient historical and current events. Assignments are also structured to correspond with lectures, course readings, and on-line discussion projects.



Dr. Chiquita Howard-Bostic has presented research at Harvard University, two international forums at Oxford University, and other prestigious conferences in the United States and abroad. Howard-Bostic’s current research and journal publications have advanced the study of bystander intervention, intimate partner violence, teaching and learning, and transformational leadership.


Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)

Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is an emerging field of collaborative online international learning and a teaching and learning methodology. Dr. Howard-Bostic has implemented COIL models since 2016 to foster exchange between faculty and students with peers abroad through Internet-based communication tools.
